Sofia began her journey at Year Up, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing career and higher education opportunities to urban young adults. This launched her career in government solutions, where she gained valuable experience working with leading technology companies. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Sofia traded the golden handcuffs for an exhilarating adventure to pursue her dreams.
Sofia completed a 30-hour marketing course that landed her a gig in the auto industry. There, she learned the ins and outs of the industry, from developing and executing marketing campaigns to even changing auto parts and detailing cars. Sofia continued to pursue her education through online resources, focusing on website design, branding, and e-commerce.
Sofia now uses her expertise to manage her own marketing company, blazing a trail for other aspiring entrepreneurs. She is also a passionate mentor, helping other young adults develop a strategy to monetize their talents and break into the content creation and e-commerce spaces. She also teaches masterclasses in starting and marketing online beauty stores.
When she's not glued to her laptop, Sofia fuels her sense of adventure by exploring the beaten paths of Colorado, cooking and spending time with her family.
